Impersonation notice
We are aware of websites, emails, and messages that falsely use the Globacor Partners name, logo, and the identities of our principals and staff. These parties have no affiliation with our firm.
How we engage
We do business only with individuals and institutions we have met in person and know directly. A new relationship always begins with a personal introduction and a meeting with our principals, never through unsolicited online contact. If you are unsure, call our Toronto office at +1 (416) 214-6800, using the number published here rather than any number provided to you by someone else.
Common modern scams
- Look-alike websites and email addresses that imitate legitimate firms.
- Unsolicited investment offers promising guaranteed or unusually high returns.
- Requests for wire transfers, cryptocurrency, or gift cards.
- Pressure to act quickly or keep the opportunity confidential.
- Fabricated documents, credentials, or regulatory registrations.
What we never do
Globacor Partners does not solicit investments through unsolicited messages, and will never ask for funds or personal financial details by email, text message, or social media.
If you are contacted
Do not send money or personal information. Reach us directly through our contact page, and report the matter to the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre at 1-888-495-8501 or antifraudcentre-centreantifraude.ca, as well as to your local police.
